The Early Access to "Endless Space 2" will bring four of the game's planned factions, half of the actual eight that would be included in the final release of the game. These factions would be Sophons, Cravers, Vodyani, and Lumeris.

Amplitude Studio is yet to unveil the other four factions to be included in "Endless Space 2". Each faction would be featuring its own unique game style, new and exclusive technologies to be unlocked, and unique characters with their own storylines. These elements would further elevate the overall narrative of "Endless Space 2", which somehow sets it apart from other strategy gaming video games.

Cause of Delay and Alpha Version

Not everything has been smooth sailing for "Endless Space 2" though as it has also been reported that this Early Access phase had already been postponed at least two times already. It would have been earlier set either during the summer or earlier this month. Amplitude Studio addressed these delays with a statement.

The company said that their team did their best to actually reach the September release date for "Endless Space 2". Amplitude Studio, however, released the game to their VIPs to experience the pre-alpha iteration of the game. These testers, then, gave mostly positive feedback as for the overall gameplay and atmosphere of "Endless Space 2". However, some adjustments still needed to be made in order to publicly release the game, so they had to push the Early Access back for a few weeks.

With "Endless Space 2" being one of the company's several hit titles, Amplitude Studio had already grasped the ins and outs of releasing an early version of their game. The developers know that giving out the best impression for "Endless Space 2" would result to a better market reception and overall gaming experience for all their fans.

A fair warning though: The Early Access iteration of "Endless Space 2" to be released next week is still the alpha version. This means that while the gaming experience is not far from the officially released version, there would be some features that would not be implemented yet. The game will also incorporate mechanics wherein the developers still need feedback from its testers.
