Eva Longoria stunned onlookers during a red carpet appearance at the screening of "Moonrise Kingdom" by Wes Anderson on Tuesday, after she arrived wearing a heavily detailed Marchesa gown.

The actress, who joined various film stars for the Cannes Film Festival, arrived wearing a silver gown which featured a long train that was entirely made of tulle.

The main body of Longoria's dress featured intricate designs with diamanté detail and an openly transparent back.

At times the 37-year-old appeared to look awkward as she attempted to shift the position of her train while changing her poses for the group of photographers who were in awe of her dress, but her assistant was on hand to assist.

"Just climbed the mythical Red Stairs of Cannes. Such a huge emotion, and what a fantastic Electric look!" The actress wrote on Twitter from the movie premiere.

Despite recently admitting that she was emotional about "Desperate Housewives" coming to an end and facing relationship woes with on-off boyfriend Eduardo Cruz, the actress appeared to be radiant and in good spirits.

Longoria recently spoke out about her failed 3-year marriage to San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker, 29, and insists that his infidelities have not affected her spirit.

"I am so secure in who I am. I really am! And I'm not conceited. I just think, "Wow, okay, that's the life you want to live.' It wasn't about who he chose. I mean, I had moments [where I wondered], 'Am I not sexy enough? Am I not pretty enough? Am I not smart enough?' But in so many of those questions, I immediately stopped and said, 'No, don't start doing that.' Because you can get stuck in that cycle and you can carry on to other things," Longoria said on Lifetime's "The Conversation With Amanda de Cadenet."

While she was hurt by her ex-husband's cheating, Longoria quickly bounced back into the dating scene and met Cruz, who is the younger brother of actress Penelope Cruz.

The pair were said to have split shortly before Longoria's 37th birthday but are believed to have rekindled their romance.

"Over the course of the evening, Eva and Eduardo were holding hands and whispering to each other, and things definitely appear to be back on between them," a source who spotted the couple dining at the Chateau Marmont restaurant in West Hollywood recently told X17 Online.
