Evelyn Lozada Thinks Marriage to Chad Johnson Didn't Count?

Evelyn Lozada, the 37-year-old star of "Basketball Wives," recently touched base with fans on Twitter, where she answered questions about her marriage and relationship with ex-husband Chad Johnson's children.

Lozada broke things off with free agent NFL player Chad Johnson one month after marrying him last July. Lozada alleged that the pair engaged in a domestic dispute that resulted in Johnson physically assaulting her after an argument about his infidelities.

The reality television star made it clear that she did not consider her first marriage to be legitimate after divorcing Johnson one month after the pair walked down the aisle. Lozada revealed those thoughts when she was questioned by a fan about her thoughts on being married again during her Twitter question and answer session.

"Again," Lozada questioned on Twitter. "It will be my first 'marriage' lol."

However, Lozada made it clear that she would never lose communication with Johnson's children after one fan questioned if she still communicated with her step children.

"With @Jicyraa_Carter yes & always will," Lozada tweeted before referring to her former stepdaughter Jicyraa by her nickname. "Right poop?"

Earlier this year, Lozada opened up to Celebuzz about her desires to let God choose her next husband.

"I still want to be a mother, I still want to have other children, I still want to get married and have a family," Lozada told Celebuzz previously. "Only this time, instead of me choosing, I'm going to allow God to choose whomever for me."

The reality star and author spoke about what she is looking for in her future husband.

"I just want a good guy. A family man who wants kids," Lozada told Celebuzz.. "I don't want five kids, but one or twins would be great."

The reality television star and author told Vibe Vixen magazine that couples like actress Meagan Good and her preacher husband DeVon Franklin, who also serves as a Hollywood executive, have inspired her.

"I really look up to Meagan Good and her husband, DeVon [Franklin]," Lozada revealed to Vibe Vixen previously. "I heard him preach, and this man had me in tears. I was like, 'Wow, this is a man.'"
