'Fargo' Season 2 Episode 7 Spoilers: Lou, Hank Return To Fargo; Plans Already Being Put In Place For Season 3?

Things are about to get even more intense and complicated as the second season of FX's hit crime drama TV series "Fargo" continues this week with a brand new episode. Meanwhile, a recent interview with one of the show's cast members reveals some interesting details about Season 3.

The short episode description for "Did You Do This? No, You Did It?" posted on TV Guide indicates that Lou Solverson (Patrick Wilson) and Sheriff Hank Larsson (Ted Danson) will head to Fargo to further make an investigation. Perhaps this could still be related with the incident involving the Gerhardts.

In last week's showing, Hank got busted in the back of the head by Hanzee (Zahn McClarnon) while the sheriff is interrogating Peggy (Kirsten Dunst) about the accident at the diner. Dodd (Jeffrey Donovan) and the Indian proceed with their plan to kill the beautician but ultimately failed.

The summary for the upcoming episode also tells about Floyd Gerhardt (Jean Smart) getting called away while Bear (Angus Sampson) questions the loyalty of a clan member. This family could be Simone (Rachel Keller) who recently had a tie in with the Kansas City crime organization.

In related news, it seems like fans will finally get to see more of the Gerhardt family, particularly as to how they became a powerful organized crime syndicate in Fargo.

In an interview with Monsters and Critics, Smart said that the show is already working on the third season of the series. As to what the story would be about this time, the 64-year-old admitted that she doesn't know anything yet. However, she does hope that viewers will get to see more of her character and Otto (Michael Hogan) building up the empire.

"I was hoping we'd do a flashback scene with Floyd," Smart told M&C.

As for the remainder of the sophomore season, the stage actress chose to keep mum.

"…there are some things you won't expect. They're all moving in their own way towards their own outcomes," she teased.

"Fargo" Season 2 airs this Monday, Nov. 23, at 10 p.m. on FX.
