'Fast and Furious 7' News, Plot Spoilers: Paul Walker's Character Has a Happy Ending

"Fast and Furious 7," one of the most buzzed about films in 2014, is now close in hitting the theaters. Its release date was pushed back from July 11 of this year to April 10, 2015, and Paul Walker's character will now reportedly have a happy ending.

The untimely death of the movie franchise's lead actor contributed to production setbacks, which almost caused Universal Studios to scratch out the whole unfinished film and start anew. Thankfully, with the genius of director James Wan and writer Chris Morgan, they were able to tweak around the script and give Paul Walker's Brian O'Conner a happier ending. Recent rumors indicated that brothers of the late actor, Cody and Caleb, stood in as body doubles during the re-shootings.

Meanwhile, co-star Vin Diesel, who plays Dominic Torretto in the film series, posted a rather sentimental post on his social media with a photo of him and his good friend Walker on what seems to be in the set of the previous "Fast and Furious 6" movie.

Another photo showed the 47-year-old actor with other cast members Ludacris, Tyrese and Walker in black suits, suggesting that the "Fast and Furious" family is still mourning for the passing of their colleague and friend.

Diesel admitted during an interview that Walker's unexpected departure was one of the darker moments in his life.

More recently, the "Riddick" star took to his Facebook again to share some behind-the-scene moments with "Ong Bak" star Tony Jaa and him working in an intense training session for "FF7." Dated Sept. 3, it shows Jaa, who is reported to appear in the movie, and Diesel doing an acrobatic stunt with poles.

"Fast and Furious 7" will pick up from where "Fast and Furious 6" left and is slated to arrive in cinemas April of next year.
