'Final Fantasy' Pop-Up Experience to Open in London in Celebration of 30th Anniversary

As part of its 30th-anniversary celebration, "Final Fantasy" will be opening a Pop-Up Experience in London.

According to a blog post on Square Enix, the Pop-Up Experience will allow fans to play several "Final Fantasy" games and purchases different kinds of merchandise. This includes special, limited edition items that have yet to be disclosed. There will also be products from the Square Enix Store on sale.

However, perhaps the most exciting part of the Pop-Up Experience is being able to play the upcoming "Dissidia Final Fantasy NT," which is scheduled to be released on Jan. 30, 2018. Only closed beta participants have been able to play the game, but fans who visit the Pop-up Experience will now have the chance to do so as well.

There will also be artwork displayed at the Pop-Up Experience. This artwork will showcase the history of "Final Fantasy."

Apart from that, there will be two exclusive events taking place on Friday and Sunday. The Friday, Nov. 3, event will have "Dissidia Final Fantasy NT" producer Ichiro Hazama as a special guest. On the other hand, the Sunday, Nov. 5, event will have "Final Fantasy XIV" producer and director Naoki Yoshida as a special guest.

Fans who are interested in attending these exclusive events will have to buy their tickets fast, as only a limited number will be available. Tickets have yet to go on sale though fans are advised to monitor the official Facebook and Twitter pages of "Final Fantasy" and "Final Fantasy XIV" for announcements.

The "Final Fantasy" Pop-Up Experience will take place at 21 Slingsby Place, Covent Garden, London. Fans who are residing in London can consider themselves lucky. The whole event will last for three days, beginning on Friday, Nov. 3. Fans can visit the location from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
