First Class Passenger Arrested for Looking at Child Porn on Delta Flight

Immediately after a plane arrived to Boston's Logan International Airport from Salt Lake City, a 47-year-old passenger was arrested by police officers for allegedly possessing child porn in his laptop computer.

Grant Smith of Utah was allegedly viewing the unlawful pictures when a fellow passenger also seated in first class noticed his actions.

The passenger quickly alerted stewards, who then alerted the authorities to ensure Smith was apprehended for the illegal images.

Smith was arrested for possessing child pornography, and according to the state police other charges may soon be filed against him depending on the continuing investigation. Officers have said that Smith will be charged for possessing child pornography.

A $15,000 bail was set and Smith was due in court on Monday in the East Boston District Court.

Delta Airlines, the airline upon which Smith was flying with, could not be reached for comment.
