Former Pussycat Dolls Member Claims Group Was Part of 'Prostitution Ring'

A former member of the Pussycat Dolls is claiming that the group was a part of a "prostitution ring."

Kaya Jones, 33, took to Twitter over the weekend to accuse her former manager and other executives of taking advantage of her while she was still in the girl group Pussycat Dolls. According to her, the Pussycat Dolls had operated similar to a prostitution ring wherein its members had been forced to sleep with men in exchange for the fame.

"My truth. I wasn't in a girl group. I was in a prostitution ring. Oh & we happened to sing & be famous. While everyone who owned us made the $... How bad was it? People ask—bad enough that I walked away from my dreams, my bandmates & a 13 million dollar record deal. We knew we were going to be #1," Jones said on her Twitter page.

Not only that, she also called out the group's "den mother" which may be a reference to Robin Antin, the founder of the Pussycat Dolls. The 53-year-old Antin would later refute Jones' claims, saying that all of the latter's allegations are nothing but disgusting, ridiculous lies and that the former Pussycat Dolls member is just looking for her 15 minutes of fame. Furthermore, Antin also claimed that Jones was nothing more than a trial member for the group and that she was never a part of the Pussycat Dolls.

Jones was with the Pussycat Dolls from 2003 to 2005, and after her departure, the group became an international success selling over 53 million records worldwide and becoming one of the most successful girl groups of all time.

Asia Nitollano, who had also spent time with the famed group back in 2007 also refuted Jones' claims. According to her, she does not know who Kaya Jones is and that she wasn't a part of the recording group. She says that Jones may just only be looking for her 15 minutes of fame.

So far, Nicole Scherzinger and the rest of the Pussycat Dolls have yet to give their comments about these allegations.
