Fred Armisen Could Be Mad, Says Ex Elisabeth Moss

Elisabeth Moss, actress in "Mad Men," has come forward saying that at least one of the men in her life is mad.

The "Mad Men" actress did a recent interview with the New York Post's Page Six. During the interview she spoke publicly, for the first time about her impromptu marriage and subsequent divorce from Saturday Night Live's Fred Armisen.

Moss met Armisen while doing a cameo for SNL in 2008. By the 2009 Grammys, the two appeared smitten. "[He makes me laugh] more than anything in the world," she said at the 2009 Grammys, with Armisen interrupting, "She makes me laugh. No joke. She is the funniest."

Not long after, in October of 2009, the two got hitched in a surprisingly secret ceremony while in Long Island, New York. If the wedding had shocked many fans, their divorce only eight months later appeared even more shocking.

Despite the growing interest behind what went wrong however, Moss remained mostly silent about the affair.

After more than two years of silence however, it appears that the actress' bottled up thoughts have gotten the best of her.

"It's so hard to talk about," Moss told Page Six. "One of the greatest things I heard someone say about him is, 'He's so great at doing impersonations. But the greatest impersonation he does is that of a normal person.' To me, that sums it up."

Although her answer was quick enough, the actress was even more quick to suggest that it was time to move on with the conversation.

"I've never told anyone that. And I don't want to waste any more of my life talking about it," she added also revealing that she no longer talks to her ex.

Armisen himself has admitted that he is not the most successful person at relationships.

"I still haven't been able to put things together as a responsible adult," Armisen told Page Six in December. "I didn't have a girlfriend until my last year in high school."

Armisen also didn't win over many female friends when he spoke with The New Yorker in January. He admitted preferring platonic relationships so he didn't have to feel obligated to do anything.

"I'm not thinking, I'm doing this because you're my girlfriend," Armisen revealed, suggesting it was a behavior he wished to avoid.
