Galaxy Note 2 Price Drops to $99 on Amazon.com

The Galaxy Note 2 price dropped down to just $99 on Amazon.com.

Customers can now purchase the device on Sprint with a new 2-year contract for one third of the normal price.

However, this promotion is for a limited time only, so those interested need to take advantage of the sale as soon as possible. Those ordering the device through Amazon are expected to receive it in 1-2 weeks.

The Galaxy Note normally costs $299 with a new 2-year agreement on Sprint.

AT&T's Galaxy Note has also been discounted on Amazon. But it is a bit more expensive than Sprint's, costing $174.99 with a new 2-year contract.

The device is also available on T-Mobile and Verizon, however, those carriers have not announced any specials for the Note 2 at this time.

Samsung released a brand new ad for the Galaxy Note 2 earlier this week, boosting their product to holiday shoppers even further.

The company combines the beautiful 5.5-inch display found in the Galaxy Note 2 with the ancient art of Kirigami.

Towards the end of the ad Samsung has constructed a model of what appears to be Rockefeller Center using Kirigami. It is on top of the Galaxy Note 2 display, which is illuminating a dark room decorated for Christmas.

At the end of the video, the model is pulled off to reveal the Galaxy Note 2 with its flip cover that is now available. The ad shows off some out-of-the-ordinary use for the device's 5.5-inch display.

Samsung released the Galaxy Note 2 earlier this year and it has gone on to be one of the company's most successful devices of all time.

The company recently reported that it has sold 5 million Galaxy Note 2 units in just 60 days.
