The Galaxy Note 2 is also coming to all major U.S. carriers, according to an announcement made by Samsung yesterday.

The company stated that AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile will offer their customers the smartphone tablet device on contract once it is ready for launch.

The phablet will feature 4G LTE connectivity on three out of four of these carriers excluding T-Mobile, who will rely on 42Mbps HSPA+.

The device should be available to T-Mobile customers soon.

A ROM for the T-Mobile version of the Galaxy Note 2 was discovered earlier this week. The ROM allows the smartphone-tablet hybrid to run Android 4.1, JellyBean and was compiled on Sept. 15. Samsung is still testing the software in hopes to have it ready for an official launch of the device.

There has not been any official release date announced for the Galaxy Note 2 for T-Mobile. However, it should be sometime next month since the rest of the major carriers appear to be releasing it around that time.

The carrier's variant is classified under the model number SGH-T889 and will pack the same specs as the international Galaxy Note 2.

It will be released on AT&T on Oct. 21.
