There are also rumors of the Galaxy S4 having a dotted back panel. This news originates from some of the teaser banners and logos that have surfaced in recent weeks. The device will either be made out of glass or polycarbonate plastic.

Other rumored specifications for the Galaxy S4 include a 4.99-inch HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, and a 13-megapixel camera.

Samsung confirmed the Galaxy S4 release date for March 14 last week, and now the company is set to live stream the event. Samsung will unveil the new smartphone at an event set to take place in New York City and will broadcast it live from its YouTube page.

Samsung sent out invitations to the unveiling last week. The invite reads "come and meet the next Galaxy," and also uses a numerical "4" in place of the word "four" where it says "ready 4 the show," further hinting at a Galaxy S4 unveiling for this date.

Samsung's mid-March announcement for the handset was revealed in previous rumors and the company is expected to begin shipping the device sometime in April. This event will take place in Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
