'Game of Thrones' Season 5 Spoilers From Books: Cersei Humiliated, and Jon Snow is Endangered?
"Game of Thrones" Season 4 is over, and now fans and viewers are now looking forward to Season 5, which will most likely be a year away. Season 5 will be based mostly on the contents of books four and five of the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series, "A Feast for Crows" and "A Dance with Dragons."
Here are some moments to expect in Season 5 according to the book.
With Stannis on the Wall, he will be needing support from the North for his efforts in taking King's Landing. He offers to legitimize Jon Snow and makes him Lord of Winterfell. Jon, however, refuses to take the position and becomes the Lord Commander of the Night's Watch instead. Snow gets into a political situation with his brothers in Winterfell and gets stabbed. His fate remains unclear.

King Tommen of King's Landing still reigns but not as easily. Cersei will be calling the shots since Tywin is out of the picture, but she is a terrible decision maker. She accuses Margaery with having an affair but has no evidence, which in turn gets her accused of infidelity. Unlike Margaery, Cersei is completely guilty and is ordered to shave her head and walk the streets naked. Besides the humiliating punishment, she is still ordered to stand trial where she demands a trial by combat.
Tyrion, now out of King's Landing, decides to go on an adventure. He starts out with Illyrio Mopatis in Pentos, who sends him away in search of Daenerys with companions Griff and Young Griff. Tyrion figures that his two companions are actually former Hand to Aerys Jon Conington and Rhaegar Targaryen's believed-dead son Aegon Targaryen. Tyrion is later captured in Volantis by Jorah Mormont and is sold to slavery.
The show does not promise a direct translation from what has occurred in the book, but fans will have to wait for the season to come out to find out.
