Recent news about the upcoming season of "Game of Thrones" is expected to feature a massive battle.

Reports revealing details about the series' filming in Northern Ireland showed that fans will be able to witness "The Ball of the Six Armies." The filming had just begun in Northern Ireland. It was confirmed that "Game of Thrones" has finally finished its shooting in Spain.

It was said that the set for the upcoming season of "Game of Thrones" was filled of fake dead horses. It was revealed that the fake dead horses were owned by Umber, Bolton, and Karstack. There were also lots of fake dead bodies, posed as soldiers.

It was revealed that this upcoming battle will have fans saying good-bye to some characters. One of the distinct characters of the series, Ramsay, was seen hanging on crosses, along with two bodies. In addition, a giant is also expected to join the fight. A giant named Wun Wun is expected to bring some action into the jam-packed scene.

There are speculations that houses, such as The Mormonts and Hornwoods, will also be seen taking part of the battle. In addition, Sophie Turner, who takes on the role of Sansa Stark, was also seen on set of the location. There are theories that she and Jon Snow will finally be united.

"Game of Thrones" season 6 is expected to premiere by May 2016 on HBO.
