'Game of Thrones' Cast News: Lena Headey Pregnant With Second Child

"Game of Thrones" actress Lena Headey made the announcement she is expecting her second child due out in the summer.

Lena Headey, who plays the manipulative and incestuous Cersei Lannister in the hugely popular HBO fantasy series, "Game of Thrones," has just gone public with her pregnancy.

"I'm happy to confirm that I'm having my second child this summer," she revealed to People Magazine. "I only hope that this announcement can help me to regain some of the privacy I have recently lost to prying photographers and ask that they please respect my privacy and let me enjoy this time."

The 41-year-old English actress was recently spotted displaying her baby bump in a loose black tunic while out for a walk with a female friend in Santa Monica, California.

Headey had earlier revealed her wish for more children in March last year, and as she wasn't in a relationship, she was looking into adopting as an option.

The actress, who played Lily Collins' mother in the 2013 fantasy film, "Mortal Instruments: City of Bones," has yet to divulge the identity of the baby's father. She has a 4-year-old son, Wylie from a previous marriage with musician Peter Loughran, whom she divorced after five years of marriage in 2013.

Recently, the "300" Sparta monarch has frequently been seen together with GoT co-star, Pedro Pascal, 39, who plays Dorne's Red Viper, Prince Oberyn Martell, and while neither actor has confirmed or denied rumors of a relationship, Headey has given no hint that he is the father of her second child.

Fans of the conniving queen regent of King's Landing won't be seeing Headey's baby bump on GoT Season 5 when it debuts in April, though. Filming was completed in December 2014 when the actress' stomach was still flat enough not to show. Headey will likely have given birth before she is due to return to the GoT set for Season 6.
