General Hospital Cast News, Spoilers: Actress Kelly Frye Joins Drama as Ivy, Sonny Encounters the Jail's Main Man

The comings and goings news for the hit ABC soap "General Hospital" reveals that a new character will be making a debut by the end of the month.

According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, actress Kelly Frye "has been cast in the recurring role of Ivy." Not many details were made available for the newcomer, although, the character will be making her appearance in Port Charles by Tuesday, Dec. 30.

Frye appeared on several small screen shows like on FOX dramedy "Rake" and as a metahuman named "Plastique" on The CW's superhero drama series "The Flash."

"Is she a cop, a doctor, someone's old girlfriend, someone's new girlfriend? The possibilities truly are endless with all of the storylines and tangled webs in Port Charles right now," CDL wrote.

Speaking of entangled webs of storylines, spoiler news for this week revealed that Sonny will encounter a man named Johnny whom he will learn to be the "main man" inside the prison.

Sonny will also be having a heart to heart conversation with Carly concerning the future of their relationship. For Carly's part, she will soon learn some shocking truths about Sonny's condition inside the prison. She will then seek out the needed information about Ava's baby.

Soaps.SheKnows.com also indicated that Jake will be meeting more and more people from his former life while he is looking for a job. On Nikolas' part, he will ask Elizabeth about her relationship with Jake.

Meanwhile, Sam will try to find out who was behind a shooting incident that had hurt someone. Sam, will also be asking Elizabeth about Jake as well.
