On the Thursday episode of "General Hospital," Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will be shocked to find Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) sneaking into his home.
Fans can recall that Anna and Valentin do not have a good history. The two first met when they were studying at the World Security Bureau training academy. Recently, Anna recounted that Valentin used to be identified as Ivan Theodore and that they were actually friends at the time before Valentin turned into a feared thief.
As Soap Hub shares, Anna previously wanted the WSB agents to kill Valentin, and the fact that he just caught her breaking into his house means the field agent is not yet done spying on him. But even before Valentin can ask questions, Anna became unconscious and dropped to the floor.
Despite the confusing situation, Valentin opted to do the logical thing and rushed Anna to the hospital. However, knowing the other man's dangerous nature, Griffin Munro (Matt Cohen) will accuse the former WSB agent of causing Anna's collapse.
According to Celeb Dirty Laundry, there is a great possibility that Anna's migraines and other symptoms will point to a more serious medical case. Her condition forces her to rest from her spy work at WSB, which will also mean Valentin can go on with his days unfollowed and without Anna's surveillance.
In relation to Anna's probable health condition, there are rumors that it might provide a good reason for her ex-husband's character to be resurrected.
It can be recalled that Anna was once married to David Hayward, who used to be portrayed by actor Vincent Irizarry. Recent reports have it that Irizarry is done with his contract on another long-time running soap opera "Days of Our Lives." The actor reportedly wrapped up filming with "DOOL" just several days ago but will still be seen in the show until the middle of 2017.
According to a separate report from Celeb Dirty Laundry, Anna's worsening health condition and the death of her husband Duke Lavery (Ian Buchanan) is the perfect reason for David to come back to her side. However, this speculation has yet to be confirmed.
"General Hospital" runs from Monday through Friday at 2 p.m. EST on ABC.
