There had been rumors that the hit television show "Game of Thrones," which is based on "A Song of Ice and Fire," will end with season 8 and the creators could have a prequel that will show the events transpiring before what happens in "Game of Thrones."

But instead of any news of the prequel television show, fans have the book, "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms," which is actually a prequel to "A Song of Ice and Fire" and comes in three book titles, namely, "The Hedge Knight," "The Sworn Sword," and "The Mystery Knight."

Martin is not talking about the release date for "The Winds Of Winter" but the rumour mills are grinding again at a report that appeared on the site Winter is Coming.

The report states: "According to Polish website PIESN LODU I OGNIA, a translator named Michael Jakuszewski confirmed that he was asked to reserve some time at the end of this year to translate the sixth book in the 'A Song of Ice and Fire' series, 'The Winds of Winter,' into Polish."

The report further posted a Twitter user's translation of what Jakuszewski meant and according to the report, "Michael Jakuszewski confirmed that he was asked by the Zysk publishing house to save his time by the end of the year for translating the Winds of Winter, and although the translator seemed to be a bit skeptical about this news, it is undoubtedly a glimmer of hope for many of us."

Fans who are worried that the sixth book "The Winds of Winter" won't be released in time for the "Game of Thrones" Season 6 can take hope from the above report and wait for an official announcement soon.
