Germany vs Ghana: Watch World Cup 2014 Football On ESPN TV

Germany will play Ghana on Saturday in a big World Cup 2014 Group G clash that will go a long way to determining which teams will make the cut for the knock out stages. Today's game is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the ESPN network.

Ghana come into this game knowing that anything less than a win and they likely will be on their way out. However, they come up against a formidable opponent, and in many people's eyes Germany are Europe's main hopes of bringing the World Cup back following Spain being unceremoniously dumped out of the competition earlier this week.

In team news, Germany defender Mats Hummels is a doubt after bruising his thigh in Germany's 4-0 win over Portugal. He will likely be given a late fitness test to see if he can play in today's game or not.

Meanwhile, Ghana should have Michael Essien back after he returned to full training from his toe injury.

In one interesting twist, if Kevin-Prince Boateng plays today he will be lining up against his half-brother, Jerome, who is on the German team.

Thomas Muller will be the main man Ghana have to watch out for today. He scored a hat-trick against Portugal, taking him to seven World Cup goals in his last four games.

For Germany it's pretty simple today, win and they are all but assured of a place in the Last 16. Their goal difference was massively boosted by their big win over Portugal, meaning if they move onto six points today with a win they are almost certainly guaranteed a top two finish in the group regardless of their final game against the United States next week.

Germany will kick off against Ghana from 3 p.m. ET and the game can be watched on TV on the ESPN network.
