'Girl Meets World' Season 4 Release Still Unsure? Season 3 Spoilers, Cast and What We Know so Far

"Girl Meets World" will not be ending anytime soon as the coming-of-age television sitcom will be airing until 2017. However, it is still uncertain if Disney Channel will renew the hit series for Season 4.

A representative of the network told TVLine that the production of "Girl Meets World" Season 3 will be wrapping up next week. "With episodes airing on Disney Channel into 2017, there's no news to share yet about a fourth season," the representative stated.

Speculations that "Girl Meets World" will be axed have intensified after some of its stars posted cryptic messages on social media.

"Filming tonight's episode was very emotional for all of us, so thank you to all of you who came and stuck with us. The family that we have created on our set is something I will truly never forget," Rowan Blanchard (Riley Matthews) tweeted.

In another Twitter post, Blanchard clarified that that "Girl Meets World" Season 3 will be aired until 2017. She also added that she is still unsure if there will be a Season 4 coming next year.

Moreover, Uriah Shelton (Joshua Matthews) hinted on Instagram that "Girl Meets World" may not be coming back for its fourth season. On his post, he thanked his sitcom co-stars and expressed that he is going to miss them.

'Girl Meets World' Season 3 to Feature Biggest 'Boy Meets World' Reunion              

While "Girl Meets World" Season 4 is still uncertain, fans of the Disney Channel show can expect that the remaining episodes of the third season will offer bigger surprises. The writers of the sitcom have confirmed that an episode of Season 3 will feature the biggest reunion of "Boy Meets World," the prequel of the series that aired on ABC from 1993-2000.

According to EW, the episode that will stage the biggest "Boy Meets World" reunion will be most likely shown in the finale of Season 3. Ben Savage (Cory) and Danielle Fishel (Topanga) will be joined by the original series alums Rider Strong (Shawn), Danny McNulty (Harvey), William Russ (Alan), Betsy Randle (Amy), Lee Norris (Minkus), Will Friedle (Eric), Anthony Tyler Quinn (Jonathan) and Williams Daniels (Mr. Feeney). Lily Nicksay and Lindsay Ridgeway, who both portrayed Cory's sister Morgan, will also take part of the reunion.

Plot details about the "Boy Meets World" reunion in the "Girl Meets World" Season 3 finale are still unknown. However, the writers of the Disney Channel sitcom hinted that the past characters will appear to guide Riley in making a major life decision.
