Gisele Bundchen may have threatened Tom Brady with divorce

Tom Brady is definitely having a rough year so far. After his four-game suspension, he is now reportedly having marital woes with supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen.

According to US Magazine, the NFL pro player's recent attitude has been giving Bundchen a hard time. A source says, "Tom's become very nasty and irritable and started acting out on her," says the source of the pair, who didn't celebrate their summer birthdays together." This has apparently initiated intense arguments between the couple, to the point that Bundchen has started consulting a divorce lawyer. However, Tom isn't taking this so seriously, thinking it's only a threat; however, the insider further adds, "This is definitely a rough patch."

Although Bundchen may seem to be exploring divorce as an option, she is still definitely trying to work things out as she continues to share the same living space with Brady and even flew to New York to support her husband in a Deflategate hearing last August 31, and continued on to spend one-on-one time with him afterward. Despite this, the source continues to insist that "Things are very tense right now. This could be the end of them."

Brady has been recently accused of being part of his team's, New England Patriots, Deflategate controversy. The controversy focuses on the fact that the footballs used by the team in the American Football Conference Championship Games had been tampered. It has been discovered that 11 of 12 footballs had less pressure than the required minimum. Underinflated footballs are more likely easier to manipulate, such as to grip, throw, or catch, and may even inhibit fumbling especially in cold, rainy conditions. It is reported that Brady had known about the action beforehand but did not inform investigators, which has led to his four-game suspension without pay.

Brady, who earns $13 million plus a year, has been married for six years now to highest-earning model Bundchen. The power couple have two children, Benjamin (5) and Vivian (2).
