On the other hand, the Raptors are trying to put the finishing touches on their team and their chemistry following additions during the summer as they try to regain their throne as a team to beat in the Eastern Conference.

For Golden State, this will be their first preseason match of the season, but the Raptors have already played one game earlier when they played the Los Angeles Clippers at Rogers Arena.

That match resulted in a big 93-73 win for the Raptors where Kyle Lowry scored 26 points in under 22 minutes of playing time.

Luis Scola also had a good game as the Argentine added 13 points and eight rebounds in 17 minutes on the court.

Forward DeMarre Carroll played 20 minutes and scored six points with his new team, while former number one pick Anthony Bennett did not suit up to play.

For the Warriors, expect their star guards Steph Curry and Klay Thompson to have ample minutes early in the game to shake off some rust.

If the game gets competitive in the closing stages, they may also play but this preseason will mostly be for the younger players fighting to gain a spot in the roster.

The Warriors starting line-up and core players are still intact and may all feature in this match.
