Google Breakup Photo Goes Viral: Couple's Split Caught by Google's Street View Cameras (PHOTO, VIDEO)

Google has captured the raw moment of a couple breaking up, with the company's controversial Street View feature preserving the dramatic split.

Google's Street View has previously been criticized by some for invading the privacy of pedestrians as its car drives up and down the streets, capturing images of people going about their daily lives.

However, the company has attempted to ease concerns by blurring out faces of people caught on the cameras in an effort to keep them anonymous.

The latest Street View sighting making its rounds is an image of a woman who had been kicked out of her boyfriend's house after they split. The picture, captured years ago, shows the woman placing her belongings into the car.

Reddit user Ipmark04 posted the image on the social media network along with a description: "This picture was taken a couple years ago since they have been broken up for a while now. My buddy no longer lives in the same town as me but I became aware of this recently by his brother who is currently my coworker. I find this even more hilarious because I actually knew this girl, as me and my then-gf, her and my buddy used to double date occasionally."

Many hilarious sightings have been captured by the tech giant's cameras in recent years.

One photo shows a moose running down a road, while another captured a photo of a burning car.

One sighting reveals some youngsters held up by police and being searched while another shows a tiger roaming the streets of a city.
