Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL News: Urban Armor Gear Announces Military Drop Approved Casing

Although Urban Armor was originally known for its sportswear line, they have recently entered the technological realm, by rolling out cases that some people have come to love and attribute to them. Considering that Google has just recently unveiled the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL, Urban Armor Gear has released another lineup of smartphone cases for Google's flagships.

According to reports, the cases for the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL were made with a rugged design to match its specs, which the company claims to be able to protect the users' phones form extreme conditions. Although most of their case designs for other devices also feature the same rugged design, the case for the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL were optimized to give users an exemplary experience of security and safety.

Urban Armor Gear listed the specs that will come with the case. It will feature an armor shell that is impact resistant, feather-light composite construction despite the way it looks, oversized tactile buttons to make controls easier, cutouts for the ports and the screen, scratch resistant, Android Pay and fingerprint scanner compatible, and is equipped with a military drop-test standard.

This heavy duty case for the Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will begin shipping in two weeks and it will retail for a price tag of $39.95. It will come in two variants: Ice and Ash, the latter being the darker grey of the two.

Although the case seems to be expensive for some, reviews from the fans indicate that it might be a worthy investment, especially considering the prices of the smartphones in the current market. Urban Gear Armor also retails cases for Apple's devices, such as the latest Macbook and iPhone. More details on the upcoming Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphone cases are expected to be released in the coming days.
