Gotham Season 1 'Spirit of the Goat' Recap; Episode 7 Spoilers

Fox's crime drama series "Gotham" once again captured the attention of small screen viewers with its "killer of the week" set up on its previous episode's "Spirit of the Goat."

"Deep down, we all want to eat the rich," she said.

As a way of sending her message, she hypnotizes people into committing the acts of kidnapping and murder of the wealthy family's first-born.

Meanwhile, the "death" of Oswald "Penguin" Cobblepot (Robin Lord Taylor) came to the knowledge of the Major Crimes Unit of GCPD. They have been targeting Det. Gordon about the case ever since the show began.

At the end of last week's showing, Cobblepot appeared at the station to the surprise of the many.

For this Monday's airing, Penguin's plans on overtaking the whole city is now starting to set in motion.

In the episode entitled "Penguin's Umbrella," both the police force and the mob will know that the cripple is alive and neither Falcone (John Doman) nor Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith) will be pleased with the news.

Fox recently released a sneak peek for episode 7 which showed Falcone and Mooney tying up to go against Maroni. The latter found out who Penguin really is and decided to take him under his wings as he intended to use him against the two later.

The GCPD will also be assaulted by a hitman sent by the Mob with Jim Gordon as the sole target.

"Gotham" Season 1 airs every Monday at 8 p.m. on FOX.
