'Gotham' Season Finale Episode Spoilers: The Battle Between Good and Evil Rages on in 'All Happy Families Are Alike'
Fox's hit crime-fighting TV drama series "Gotham" is set to drop some serious finale episode for its freshman season. According to spoiler reports, all strings will finally tie up in episode 22 titled "All Happy Families are Alike."
TV Guide said in their report that fans should expect blood pouring on the streets of Gotham as Fish Mooney (Jaden Pinkett-Smith) returns to battle Maroni (David Zayas) and Penguin (Robin Lord Taylor) in an attempt to retake her control of the city.
On the other side of town, Barbara (Erin Richards) and Leslie Thompkins (Morena Baccarin) will finally be acquainted in person over a recent event.
Another storyline which avid followers of the DC TV series have been so curious about is the young Bruce (David Mazouz) and the shady details of his family's mega rich enterprise.
As what has been teased towards the end of Episode 21, the orphan Wayne and his trusted butler, Alfred (Sean Pertwee), finally found the Batcave.
Speaking to TV Guide, series creator Bruno Heller explained that Bruce's attempt to uncover the company's mysterious dealings will lead him to become the person whom we know for so long.
"Like many people do, Bruce discovers secrets about his parents he was not at all prepared for and make him doubt the foundation of his belief system and how he's been living his life," Heller said.
After episode 22, the show will be back with its brand new season 2 "presumably later this year," Melty.com said.
For the meantime, "Gotham" Season Ender airs this Monday, May 4, at 8 p.m. on FOX.
