Grand Times mentioned that the alleged sequel will take the players back in 1999 wherein CJ will return as the main playable character.

The site also made claim of a "brief gameplay demo" which, as they said, was attended by a "select few journalists." The demo featured a single player mode on the PlayStation 4 console.

"Like the first game, players can eat at Cluckin' Bell and get fat, then work it all off at the gym and put on some muscle. With next gen graphics the results can be humorous and disturbing at the same time," the site said.

Also mentioned in the report is the ability of players to recruit and lead members for "crimes, or just to hang out and shoot some hoops."

They further said that GTA 6 will feature the voice acts of several celebrities like rapper Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Ice Cube, and actors like Kevin Hart and more others.

The Epoch Times, who picked up the story from Grand Times, pointed out that the site put up a disclaimer which was later removed:

"GrandTimes is a satire news publication. All events mentioned in our stories are entirely fictional. Any similarities to real people are coincidental."
