'Grey's Anatomy' Mid-Season Premiere Spoilers: Fighting Between Meredith and Maggie?

The wait is almost over as the second half of the 11th season of the hit medical drama "Grey's Anatomy" is now ready to kick off and spoiler reports suggested that fans may find Ellen Pompeo's Meredith and Kelly McCreary's Maggie patching things up already.

A report from E! Online indicated that the bickering between Meredith and her "newly discovered half-sister" will now be a thing of the past.

"When TGIT returns this Thursday, the tension between these estranged sisters will finally begin to dissipate, and the two will even start to bond. Yeah, we know ... we're shocked, too!" the site declared.

To shed light on the issue, the media outlet shared a short video of the interview they had with actress McCreary in which she revealed that episode 9 titled "Where Do We Go From Here" will be more about "sharing nice moments."

"In this Thursday night's episode, you're going to see Meredith and Maggie have a really nice bonding moment," McCreary was quoted as saying (via E! News). "We started off not getting off to a great start in the beginning, these two ladies, and now they're coming along and opening up to each other and sharing really nice moments, sharing friends and sharing secrets. So it's good."

Needless to say, this might not be the case for both Meredith and her husband.

Fans may remember Dr. Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey) getting the new DC.-based job offer which somehow upsets Meredith.

Speaking with TVLine, show creator Shonda Rhimes teases that this will be a "dark moment" for the show's protagonist.

"That, for them, is a very dark moment," Rhimes tells TVLine. "I said that this was 'the season of Meredith,' and she is very much going to be tested by what happens. This will be the first time she's without Derek and Cristina, without any of those familiar supports, so this will be about her coming into her own, as a person and as a surgeon."

"Grey's Anatomy" Season 11 returns this Thursday, Jan. 29, at 9 p.m. on ABC.
