'Grey's Anatomy' spoiler alert: Major adjustments for Meredith this season 12

The best way to describe the upcoming season of "Grey's Anatomy" is going to be "major adjustments." With last season's major shocker, many changes are expected to happen in the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital.

Following the death of Dr. Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey), Meredith's (Ellen Pompeo) life has clearly been turned upside down. However, life goes on for her, and viewers will see her slowly moving on. According to Inquistr, fans will see Meredith adjusting to her new life, and raising her kids without her husband in this upcoming season. She will be living with Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) and Maggie (Kelly McCreary) in the house that once belonged to Meredith's mother. Fans are speculating what happened to the house that Derek built for Meredith, so it is one of the things that viewers will be looking out for.

Based on the new photo teased to fans by Spoiler TV, the good doctor is seen what she does best, which is helping people who are in need at the hospital. In this season's first episode titled "Sledgehammer," the doctors are trying to save the lives of two girls that were previously been victims of bullying.

Grey's Anatomy has always been known to have its stories fresh by incorporating the latest news into its medical stories. This time, the doctors are going to face the issue of bullying and its effects to victims, especially teenagers.

Dr. Bailey (Chandra Wilson) will also be seen competing for the chief of surgery position but she'll face competition. It is reported that her competition will be played by Joey Lauren Adams, according to Entertainment Weekly. "We're going to see what it means if she does or doesn't get it, and we're going to watch her struggle with growing up in that sense," said the show's executive producer Shonda Rhimes.

The new season of Grey's Anatomy will air on Sept. 24 on ABC.
