'GTA 5' Freemode DLC Update Problems, Latest News: Bigfoot Peyote Plant Location Discovered

Some Grand Theft Auto (GTA) 5 fans have complained that the latest update to the Freemode DLC lacks new content like cars, clothes, and weapons, but a recent discovery may be enough to make up for the disappointment.

Just this month, a Reddit user on r/Chiliadmystery discovered a mysterious trophy and some vague source codes and audio files inside the GTA 5 Freemode DLC. The new discoveries lead to an unknown Peyote plant that could allow gamers to play as Bigfoot once the plant is eaten, according to iDigital Times.

There are some diehard GTA fans who have long suspected that Bigfoot is hidden in the recent updates including GTA 5. But the latest discovery somewhat confirms that suspicion and also reveals that Bigfoot is a playable character in the game, Game Spot reports.

Another discovery is about the new trophy dubbed "Cryptozoologist" which came with the latest update. The said trophy bears the caption: "You unlocked all animals for use in Director Mode… or did you?"

A Chiliad Mystery forum member on Reddit called rkRusty talked about his discovery of the mysterious Peyote plant. He used the plant to turn himself into Bigfoot. The plant is very difficult to find, and it will only appear when the weather is set to foggy. Also, a player can only locate the Peyote plant between 7:30 to 8:00 am every Tuesday.

After discovering the conditions that will help uncover the mysterious plant, rkRusty peeked into an unaccounted Peyote plant coordinate which is -1472.531, 4439.456, 18.862. This will reveal the exact location of the Sasquatch Peyote plant, the report details.

The Bigfoot Peyote plant is one of the most difficult-to-find Easter Eggs in the GTA 5 video game. But players can use a cheat code to reset the weather to the desired setting.

The GTA 5 update with the hidden Bigfoot Peyote plant is not available for all Xbox 360 and PS3 units because of some technical problems which block addition of new content.
