GTA 6 Release Date Not Arriving Anytime Soon; Game Will Feature New Female Protagonist

The sixth installment of "Grand Theft Auto" (GTA) is still in the early stages of development but rumors about it have already surfaced. Recently, news came out that a new female character could arrive to make the game even more interesting for gamers.

According to reports, the move to include a female protagonist in the upcoming game is meant to address the unfavorable reactions brought by the way female characters were depicted in the previous installment. On the other hand, there are speculations that Rockstar Games simply wants to add the different character so it could open up new plotlines and make things even more exciting for the video game series.

There are also speculations that the existing third-person mode will soon be replaced by a first-person mode and that the video game will appear both on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One. However, gamers should expect sharper graphics when it is played on consoles like the PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One S.

As for the release date of GTA 6, details remain scarce. It looks like following the success of GTA 5, which continues to rake in millions in revenues to this today, Rockstar Games is not rushing to release a sequel.

The number of years it takes for a new installment of GTA to be released is also worth considering. From the time GTA 3 was released, it took seven years before GTA 4 followed. If Rockstar Games will follow the same trend, then fans will have to wait for another seven years before the release of GTA 6. As of now, only three years have passed since GTA 5 was released.

So far, GTA 5 continues to make it big in the market, amassing billions of dollars since its release. Rockstar Games may officially announce when GTA 6 will arrive, but until then fans can only speculate.
