Gwyneth Paltrow Split From Chris Martin: Actress Regrets Break-Up?

Is Gwyneth Paltrow having second thoughts about her split from Chris Martin?

The "Iron Man" actress, who shares two children with the Coldplay front man, recently shared her thoughts about their split in an interview with Harper's Bazaar U.K. Paltrow announced their separation after 10 years of marriage on her Goop website in a post titled "Conscious Uncoupling" back in March.

"Of course, there are times when I think it would have been better if we had stayed married, which is always what your children want," Paltrow said to Harper's Bazaar U.K. in the magazine's February 2015 issue, and the interview was posted online on New Year's Eve. "But we have been able to solidify this friendship, so that we're really close."

"It's painful, it's difficult, it might be easier to say, 'I never want to see you again,' but what good does that do anyone? We've made a lot of mistakes, and we've had good days and bad days, but I have to say, I'm proud of us working through so much stuff together—and not blaming and shaming," she added.

The two remained friends since their breakup. Since then, Martin dated Jennifer Lawrence over the summer and fall, while Paltrow was reportedly spotted on several dates with "Glee" co-creator Brad Falchuk.

Paltrow spoke kindly of her ex, and she cited how Martin recently spent time with a child of a friend who had brain surgery.

"He's really great in a crisis," said Paltrow. "He has incredible empathy when it comes to somebody's pain."

"And before that, we had a friend in London whose son had a very bad head injury. And every night Chris was at the hospital sitting with the parents. He just has an extraordinary capacity in that way," she continued.

Since their breakup, no divorce papers have been filed by either Paltrow or Martin.
