'Han Solo' Movie Plot News: Director Shares New Behind-the-Scenes Images, Teases 'Desperate and Dangerous Times'

Most of the plot details about the upcoming "Han Solo" spin-off film are still being kept under wraps, but new set photos released by director Ron Howard suggest that there is going to be chaos in the galaxy.

Just like "Rogue One," which was the first anthology film in the "Star Wars" franchise, the highly anticipated "Han Solo" movie is a prequel set during the time before the original trilogy took place.

As all die-hard fans would know, Solo was a smuggler before joined the Rebellion. It is expected that the spin-off will give viewers a deeper insight on what he used to do and what went on in the galaxy during his younger years. The character was originally played by Harrison Ford, but Alden Ehrenreich has taken the mantle to play the young Solo in the upcoming film.

Now, there is a new clue about the movie's possible plot scenarios. Taking to his social media pages, the director, Howard, shared two new behind-the-scenes photos with similar captions.

On Twitter, he posted a photo of what looked like a busy set. "Shooting a scene about desperate and dangerous times in the Galaxy," he wrote.

Meanwhile, on his Instagram account, he posted a photo that features what appears to be an explosion, suggesting that the Galaxy is not a peaceful place to be in this particular scene.

"Shooting a scene about desperate and dangerous times," the caption read.

While both of these photos are a bit vague, what is clear is that the particular location is in ruins. Could the Empire have had something to do with this?

In other news, the original Solo actor recently graced the cover of GQ Magazine for its 60th-anniversary issue. And what made the photo shoot even more interesting is that the actor simply wore his own clothes. Sporting a grey shirt and a pair of blue jeans, the "Star Wars" icon had the signature smug look on his face.

Ford, 75, is also set to appear in a new film, "Blade Runner 2049," which is set to hit theaters next month.
