Harry Styles Denies Dating Kendall Jenner; Model Insists 'We're Friends'

Harry Styles and Kendall Jenner have denied romance rumors following their recent dinner date in Hollywood.

On Wednesday the One Direction singer, 19, was photographed with Jenner, 18, in a black SUV after they reportedly dined at Craigs restaurant in Hollywood. The pair both confirmed that they are just friends in separate interviews.

"I mean, we went out for dinner, but no, I guess," Styles told CNN's Piers Morgan when asked about dating reports. When the British journalist pressed the singer about the prospect of a future romance, he replied "dunno."

Jenner, who is the younger sister of reality TV star Kim Kardashian, was also quizzed about her recent date with Styles at the American Music Awards on Sunday.

"We're friends. He's cool, yeah, he's cool. You go out with one person, you're automatically dating them," she told E! Online's Guiliana Rancic about Styles. Her younger sister Kylie added "It's very hard to have friends of the opposite sex."

Styles, who is in the U.S. promoting his band's latest album, reportedly met the Teen Vogue model at a recording of the "X Factor." One Direction was recording a performance for an upcoming show and it was there that Styles and Jenner bonded.

The British pop star was recently asked about what exactly he is looking for in a girlfriend. Prior to Jenner, he was linked to singer Taylor Swift and U.K. model Cara Delvigne.

"I think you know when you find someone, I guess. I think, just someone who's nice," Styles said during an appearance on the "Jonathan Ross Show."

The dating report comes just two months after Jenner was reportedly left heartbroken following her split from college football player Julian Brooks. The pair met while attending Sierra Canyon School together and they began dating in May of 2012.

The model reportedly had cheating suspicions after Brooks graduated from high school and once her friends confirmed her suspicions, she reportedly ended the relationship because she "couldn't live with the doubt," a source previously told Star magazine.
