The previous episode began with a bomb robot as it examined a briefcase that was left behind. The briefcase exploded, but there was nothing inside. Somewhere outside, a bigger explosion occurred that took out half the bomb squad assembled.

Adam was still in the hospital and he was frustrated with his lack of progress. Kono visited him and he snapped at her. Kono told him that there was nothing he could do. He had to give the money or else they would have died.

The team was alerted to the decoy, while the real bomb was hidden inside a car. The team surmised that the bomber knew their protocols. The team discovered that the bomber was a person who wanted Jason Duclair, an arsonist they had locked up before, to be released.

The bomber was caught and Adam was realesed from the hospital. Some armed men from the drug cartel showed up at the house of Adam and Kono. Kono killed the men from the drug cartel.

"Hawaii Five-0" airs every Friday.
