Hear How 5-Y-O Students Describe Emotions - Like Glitter (VIDEO)

Credit :

When a filmmaker named Julie Bayer Salzman overheard her 5-year-old son talking with a friend about how emotions make you feel differently, she was shocked. It inspired her to learn more about how children are affected by these different emotions.

Inspired to learn more about mindfulness, Julie decided to create a short documentary with her husband profiling several of her son's classmates. In one of the metaphors given from a little girl, she explains how anger can seem like shaking up a bunch of glitter in a water-filled jar. "It's like spinning around and then you don't have any time to think." Something like this can be very dangerous and cause a person to overreact and do something they will regret. But, it's not just the compelling metaphors that is inspiring from these kids, but their way of dealing with the anger.

It will truly inspire you in every way and maybe change some bad habits. Just reminding us again that kids can always teach us a thing or two about life.
