I love pastors. My father, grandfather, and great-grandfather were all pastors. My sister married a pastor. I married a pastor’s daughter, and my daughter married a pastor. I even spent part of my childhood around a seminary where my father served on staff – and met a lot of pastors and pastors-to-be in the process.

So I have a deep love for pastors. I love being around them. I hurt with them when they hurt. I believe they are the most underrated leaders in our society. That’s why I’ve spent most of the last three decades serving pastors and helping them in anyway I can.

Every week for the past six years I’ve done so through Rick Warren’s Ministry Toolbox. I love bringing you informative articles, helpful tips, hot ministry links, and more – from Saddleback and around the world. In the process we try to provide the tools you need to become more effective in ministry.

While we wind down the summer and head into the fall season, the Ministry Toolbox will come to you every other week instead of weekly. We're also working on a new a site that will help you develop community with other pastors. We'll let you know about that site soon.

So enjoy the rest of your summer, and we’ll see you in a couple of weeks!
