'Heroes Reborn' Cast News, Update: Actor Zachary Levi Dishes on 'Wild Card' Character Luke

Fans of the hit NBC show "Heroes" are already looking forward this fall for the arrival of its revival miniseries titled "Heroes Reborn." While a lot of things are yet to be revealed as to how the two series will tie up with each other, one new member of the cast spoke up about his character.

"Chuck" actor Zachary Levi revealed the motivation for his character Luke Collins.

"[Luke] is doing things for a reason, a reason that he's convinced is the right thing to do, at least for the time being or whatever. But it's a journey and I think all the characters in this show, they all start in one spot and they all end in another. It's really big and a lot of things are going on," he told TV Junkie. "These things affect each of the characters. That definitely happens to my character as well. I so badly want to say more to all this, but it would be total spoiler alert and I'd get fired and that would be a bummer."

A number of speculations meanwhile pointed out to the issue regarding Luke's nature as to whether he'd be a villain or be with the good ones. Here's what Levi has to say on the issue:

"Coming in as a wild card it's like, 'What is he going to do?' And you get a little more leeway to play with that and to surprise people. I'm a big fan of surprising people. And scaring people! But surprising people … He's complicated," the actor explained.

"But I think the complication is what makes it really intriguing. It was the most intriguing thing to me about the character. When I found out who they wanted me to play I was like, 'Yes. That's the character I would like to play,'" Levi aded.

"Heroes Reborn" is set to return on NBC with 13 brand new episodes this fall.
