'Heroes Reborn' star Jack Coleman hints on a new villian to watch out for

Spoilers reveal new twists

NBC's "Heroes Reborn" is set to premiere this fall, and more details continue to be revealed on what to expect in this reboot. Actor Jack Coleman reprises his role as Noah Bennett in the miniseries, and has shared the new conflicts that their characters will face.

With the events taking place five years after the original series ended, a terrorist attack that happened in Odessa was blamed on the EVOs, which stands for evolved humans. They are now being persecuted and hunted by the government, among others.

In an interview with TV Guide, Coleman explains his character's new role in the series, wherein Noah Bennet tries to find the EVOs that have hidden underground, for the purpose of uniting them once again to save the world. Coleman also revealed that a new villian emerges and brings threat to the EVOs. This new villian is an evil organization that does not look like what it seems. He adds, "It's that kind of world where things are not as they appear, and it's a big powerful company."

This new detail is a welcome addition to the full trailer recently released by NBC. Here, a mix of new and old faces are shown, all whom have extraordinary powers and are said to be capable of being heroes. Other earlier teasers also show familiar characters like Hiro and Mohinder Suresh. Joining the returning cast are new characters that will be played by Robbie Kay, Zachary Levi, Dylan Bruce, Francesca Eastwood, and many more. Although the reboot will only have 13 episodes, it promises to bring an exciting and action-packed story that fans loved in the original series. This is especially since series creator Tim Kring returns as its executive producer.

While fans wait for the pilot episode, an app is also launched that features information about the original Heroes series. The app is available in both Apple iOs and Android platforms. Heroes Reborn premieres on Sep. 24 on NBC.
