What Hillary Misses When She Studies the Bible

The current Pew Research Faith Poll reveals a "massive 19 point increase among those saying Hillary Clinton is 'not too' or 'not at all' religious." Are her statements regarding her religion hollow and hypocritical?

Recently, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton said the following while campaigning: "I'm a Christian and a Methodist."  She then said, her "study of the Bible led me to believe the most important commandment is to love the Lord with all your might and to love your neighbor as yourself."

Students of the Bible will obviously recognize her paraphrasing Luke 10:29-37.  Since this is the core tenet of her belief system, let's see if she's practicing what she preaches when it comes to about-to-be born babies.

Referring to her daughter's pregnancies, she understandably expresses great excitement telling audiences that Chelsea's going to have another baby! And that is the core tenet of what this commentary addresses: We are not dealing with "products of conception" but our most defenseless "neighbors" — developing, in-utero babies. If this isn't the case, why are headlines screaming the Zika virus is a definite "risk to babies in the womb"?

In the bible story Mrs. Clinton referenced, we find a person unclothed, beaten and left for dead. Sound like a baby subjected to abortion?  The horrific videos exposing Planned Parenthood's trafficking in baby body parts made this even more real.

While two religious individuals ignored the person's plight, a third non-religious one did what was necessary to rescue him and save his life. Jesus commended the merciful man as the true "neighbor" then instructed, "Go and do likewise" (v.37).

At a United Methodist Women's Assembly, Hillary praised them for "taking the social gospel into the world…we cannot let those in need fend for themselves."  While caring for the poor is noble and our duty, what about needy unborn little ones facing execution by abortion?

Here's the deal: Methodist Christians like Hillary Clinton cannot simply embrace a "social gospel" attempting to ameliorate cultural conditions while ignoring genuine repentance, redemption and respect for human life. That's like leaving the prodigal son with a sleeping mat and a sandwich but not calling him to repent and return home a new man.

Before her death, Mother Teresa spoke at the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, DC with then —President Bill Clinton and Hillary sitting beside her as she spoke. Responding to the Clintons and pro-abortionists who rationalize abortion spares  "unwanted" children, the diminutive nun extended her arms and declared, "There is no such thing as an unwanted child! Bring any such child to me. I will find them a home! … We cannot fight credibly against other social and moral ills, including poverty, and violence, while we tolerate mass killings by abortion."

Bill and Hillary squirmed in their seats. Later they said they wanted abortion to be "safe, legal and rare".

Today Mrs. Clinton campaigns for tax-subsidized abortions (making them more available and rampant) while receiving $20 million from Planned Parenthood along with their enthusiastic endorsement.  Her position is to support young girls procuring abortions without parental consent even though these same teens cannot go to tanning salons without mom's consent!

"MRS. CLINTON, I ASK HERE FOR YOUR ATTENTION AS I SPEAK RESPECTFULLY AND DIRECTLY TO YOU ABOUT THE DIGNITY OF LIFE FROM WOMB TO TOMB."

We've now seen 58.5 million abortions since the infamous 1973 Supreme Court decision. Unless this unconscionable trend is reversed, we will soon have executed 10 times the number Hitler did during the Holocaust.

In your quest to become the first female president of the United States, our collective plea is that you live your faith genuinely as directed by Jesus and the founder of Methodism, John Wesley. Practice what you preach to "love your neighbor as yourself" - particularly our precious unborn children, just like the second one Chelsea carries today.

Your so-called, "War on Women" must include in-the-womb girls whose hearts beat by the 18th day and by the 30th day have all major structures of their little bodies evident, starting to develop.

John Wesley said his heart was "strangely warmed" when he embraced the truth and was genuinely converted. May you have a similar experience as you listen to this brief testimony of a young girl similar to your beautiful daughter currently carrying another baby in her womb. Watch:
