Honeymoon Prostitution Arrest: Groom Arrested for Attempting to Hire Prostitute on Honeymoon (VIDEO)

A honeymoon prostitution arrest has taken place earlier this month, after the groom, only just married, was caught attempting to hire a prostitute.

A man from Illinois had literally only been married for hours, and had traveled with his new bride to Orlando for their honeymoon.

However, according to NBC, Mohammed Ahmed used his time on the honeymoon to find an online ad for local prostitutes, and signed up to arrange to meet one woman.

He left his bride to go off and meet the woman in the agreed location, but to his shock when he arrived he was arrested by undercover police officers.

Meanwhile, the new bride was left alone at their honeymoon apartment, and when she could not find her husband anywhere and he didn't return for a long time she contacted police to report him missing.

The Sheriff's Office then managed to put two and two together and had the unpleasant news of breaking it to the newly wedded bride that her husband was being detained in their jail for attempting to hire a prostitute.

Ahmed was reportedly charged for the prostitution offense, and also for marijuana possession, after drugs were found on his person during the bust.

However, Ahmed was not the only one caught; the four day prostitution sting reportedly led to the arrest of 92 people by the Polk County Sheriff's Office, according to Fox News.

Reports state that in addition to the 21 year old groom on his honeymoon, a local 45 year old youth minister was also arrested for attempting to hire a prostitute.

It has been reported that in total, 12 pimps, 39 prostitutes, and 39 johns (prostitution clients) were arrested for prostitution.

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd has announced: "Prostitution is illegal, and those who commit or who derive proceeds from this crime in Polk County can expect to go to jail … Whether it is on the street or online, prostitution is illegal and we will continue to investigate and arrest those involved."
