'Housewives' Faye Resnick Replacing Kim Richards? 'It's Flattering'

Former "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" villain, Faye Resnick, denied reports claiming she is set to replace Kim Richards on the hit reality TV show and she weighed in on new axing rumors.

On Wednesday reports claimed Kim, 49, may be let go by Bravo TV producers at the end of season four and that her sister Kyle, 45, allegedly threatened to quit in protest if this occurs. Insiders claimed Resnick, whose boorish throughout season 3 made her widely unpopular, was being considered as a potential replacement for Kim however she is not interested.

"It's flattering [that] my name has come up in discussion with being on the show," Resnick told HollywoodLife.com.

"I've been on it a few times and enjoyed it, but in all reality, I'm happy with my career as a designer," she continued. "I have no interest in doing anything full time other than that."

Resnick is best known for testifying against O.J. Simpson during his infamous 1995 murder trial months before going off to pose nude for a men's magazine. She is a close friend of both Kyle and Kim, who are yet to address axing reports.

Kim openly battled with addiction in seasons two and three, after Kyle revealed her alcoholism, but she has since been able to make a sober recovery. Bravo producers reportedly fear that the veteran housewife's storyline is now lacking in interest and subsequently they are plotting to let her go after the season four reunion show taping.

"The network is not entirely happy with the ratings for the current season of Beverly Hills and sadly, despite being Paris Hilton's aunt, [Kim] has little going on in her life," a production source told RadarOnline.com. "Viewers don't care about watching Kim's dog getting training. It's boring!"

Kyle, who has been a strong source of support for Kim in recent years, is said to be furious over Bravo's alleged plans to fire the mother of four. While the two have often bickered in the past, they appear to be closer than ever this season which is why Kyle has made threats to leave if Kim is let go.

"As you can imagine, Kyle is very unhappy about Bravo's plans. She has made no secret of that fact that she'll threaten to quit if her sister is fired," the insider revealed adding that the show is the "only steady income that Kim has and Kyle doesn't want to financially support her again."

Resnick weighed in on the rumors and insisted that Kim, who is the aunt of famed reality star-turned-DJ Paris Hilton, should remain on the show.

"I think Kim is doing an amazing job, and I want to see her continue on the show," Resnick said.
