Two struggling squads meet at the Toyota Center as the Houston Rockets host the Washington Wizards in the regular season of the National Basketball Association.

The battle is on January 30, 2016 at 8:00 PM ET.

Both squads are recognized as strong teams with playoff aspirations but at the moment, they are not enjoying the season they thought they would have as they are battling around the middle of their respective conferences.

The Wizards hail from the Eastern Conference and have the talent to battle against their rivals in the conference but injuries and inconsistencies have cost them so far. At the moment, they are below the .500 mark and are outside looking in on a season that could be wasted.

With John Wall leading the team, the sky is the limit for the Wizards but his supporting cast has not found the common ground to perform on a consistent basis.

The biggest missing piece is Bradley Beal as the sharpshooter is almost nowhere to be seen in the first half of the season. The Wizards organization is hoping that they can turn things around and string together big wins to jump start their season before it's too late.

On the other hand, the Rockets are meddling around the .500 mark but their line-up suggests that they should be one of the best teams in the league.

James Harden is still one of the best scoring athletes in the league but his defence has not improved at all and the rest of his teammates are unable to pick-up the slack.

Dwight Howard has been riddled with injuries and his return can spark the Rockets but it also should be soon.

This is their final match-up of the season and the Rockets are looking to complete the season sweep of the Wizards.
