The return of the new season of NBA brings another possible comeback of one Jeremy Lin. Fans have not forgotten his performance that tagged him with "Linsanity." With his recent transfer to the Charlotte Hornets, expectations arise as to how Lin would fare in his new team. Coach Steve Clifford is reported to feature a double guard backcourt, where one of which is Lin. Having given a key role, Lin is expected to up his game and possibly reignite the excitement that he once brought in the court.

Lin may not have made much impact since his glory days, but he remains to be popular with the fans. A proud Christian, he is known to have accepted one of NBA's biggest pay cuts without remorse. According to 2paragraphs.com, it did not matter to Lin if his salary took a major decline. He accepted Hornets' offer because he believed it gave him a new opportunity, which is the main reason why he plays the game.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Lakers is set to acquire another Asian player in an attempt to expand its market. Movie News Guide reports that the Lakers would lose significant market when it traded Lin. During Lin's stay with the Lakers, the team had major sponsorship deals with Asian brands. It is reported that the team has set its eyes on Yi Jianlian, who has been in several NBA clubs. If not, the Lakers still has Fil-American Jordan Clarkson.
