'How to Get Away With Murder' Season 3 Episode 3 Spoilers and Updates: Oliver is Alive, But Will He Do What Annalise Says?

Looks like Oliver (Conrad Ricamora) has escaped the stretcher in "How to Get Away With Murder" (HTGAWM) Season 3 Episode 2, "There Are Worse Things Than Murder." In the episode's flash forwards, the computer whiz was seen running towards Annalise Keating (Viola Davis), hysterical about the ensuing tragedy. But Annalise seemed to have put herself together, telling Oliver not to think about "the body" yet. She then whispered to him to wipe the contents of her cellphone before being whisked away by the police.

What went down

But apart from the deadly twist, HTGAWM 3.2 also saw several developments in the current timeline. Back at Middleton University, a stranger had put up several fliers of Annalise being called a killer, leading to the University Board moving to oust her from the faculty. But Annalise had stood her ground, saying there is no way they can stop her from teaching the kids.

Meanwhile, in Annalise's legal clinic, a woman named Irene came to them for help. She had brutally murdered her husband following years of all sorts of abuses from him. Irene, however, refuses to apologize for her actions, which made it difficult for the students to argue in favor of her parole application.

Connor (Jack Falahee) is tasked to take the lead on the case. He delivered by giving an impassioned speech about the perpetration of the culture of victim-blaming. He accused the board of focusing solely on Irene's actions rather than the cycle of abuse she had had to endure for years under his thumb. Irene, of course, was granted parole, and at the moment, justice was served.

Meanwhile, no one has any idea where Frank is, although Laurel was getting increasingly involved with his disappearance as seen in HTGAWM 3.2. Frank, however, made contact with Annalise through her burner phone and confessed that he'd killed the PI she sent to track him. Laurel, on the other hand, is keeping her eye out on the Mahoney case and is deeply worried that Wes (Alfred Enoch) is involved in his murder (Of course, viewers know that he wasn't).

HTGAWM Season 3 Episode 3: Always Bet Black Spoilers

Meanwhile, spoilers are out for HTGAWM Season 3 Episode 3: "Always Bet Black". According to the official synopsis, the Keating 5 will be tasked to a high-profile murder case which is bound to push their morals. Laurel, on the other hand, makes a shocking discovery. Could it have something to do with Frank or the Mahoney case?

Oliver: What Will He Do?

In an interview with TVLine and Variety, "How to Get Away With Murder" star Conrad Ricamora talked about being the sole survivor (so far). With the task Annalise had given him, however, he's just as equally liable and in trouble. Ricamora noted that this was the most illegal thing Annalise Keating has ever asked him to do, and he isn't sure yet whether his character will follow through her demands.

As for HTGAWM's favorite ship, Coliver, Ricamora said Oliver himself has closed the door on a possible getting back together. He said Oliver has gotten suspicious of Connor, especially after he barely reacted to the Stanford acceptance email deletion. With Connor involved in a string of murders and cover-ups, and Oliver's being HIV positive, Ricamora said his character needed time to recover and "find himself".

"How to Get Away With Murder" Season 2 Episode 3 will air Thursday, October 6.
