HTC One Max Black Model to Launch Soon

A black version of the HTC One Max will be launching in Hong Kong soon.

HTC announced the new variant this week. The company did not speak on its global plans for multiple colors, but it would make sense to see more options for the HTC One Max as the HTC One and One Mini are already offered in several different shades in markets across the globe.

The new black model will feature identical specs to the original version.

HTC issued a press release that revealed everything about the HTC One Max earlier this year.

"The addition of the HTC One Max means that we now have an HTC One phone for everyone. The family has been built on quality and game-changing innovations and the HTC One max is certainly no exception," said Peter Chou, CEO of HTC Corporation. "The upgrade of HTC Sense 5.5 will provide our most amazing mobile experience yet, with the HTC One max delivering the size and power required to do everything you want, and more, without compromise."

The HTC One Max comes with a 5.9-inch Full HD 1080p display, a 1.7GHx Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, Android 4.3 with HTC Sense 5.5, 16/32GH of internal memory, 2GB RAM, microSD slot, a 3300 mAh battery and HTC BoomSound Dual frontal stereo speakers with built-in amplifiers.

The long-rumored fingerprint scanner for the device was also confirmed by HTC.

"A new Fingerprint Scan feature takes convenience to a new level while acclaimed features including HTC BlinkFeed, HTC Zoe and HTC BoomSound, combined with the new HTC Sense 5.5, which are all enhanced to continue to deliver the best overall smartphone experience, now on a larger screen," wrote HTC in the press release.
