Immigration Reform 2015 News: Mark Zuckerberg's Campaign Takes on Donald Trump

Earlier this month, FWD.us, the Mark Zuckerberg-backed group, launched a campaign that slams Donald Trump's call to deport undocumented immigrants all over the country. While the group has lost millions in its previous attempts to make its cause known, it continues to show support for the many people who will be affected by mass deportations.

For the most part, it is understandable that if Trump wins the 2016 elections, the United States might see millions of people drawn apart from their families. It also means that a lot of jobs will be lost and starting life all over again is inevitable.

Due to the GOP front-runner's campaign that says it is vital that a wall should be created in the U.S.-Mexico border to make sure no undocumented immigrants pass through. He also made it clear that he is totally against current President Barack Obama's plan to allow Syrian refugees into the Americas.

Meanwhile, the Facebook CEO said in a post on Dec. 10 that he will stand with Muslims who are threatened by mass deportations. "If you're a Muslm in this community, as the leader of Facebook I want you to know that you are always welcome here and that we will fight to protect your rights and create a peaceful and safe environment for you," he continued.

The FWD.us is known widely for its support of the H-1B visas expansions. The visa expansions will not only allow foreign workers to enter the country but it will also give families their rights to a majority of the opportunities that Americans enjoy.

Founded in 2013 by not only Zuckerberg but tech giants such as Bill Gates, Reid Hoffman, and Eric Schmidt, the organization aims to stop Trump's reform that will totally close all doors and opportunities not only for immigrants planning to live in the United States but those who have already settled and call the Americas their home.
