Indianapolis Colts vs Cincinnati Bengals takes place on Thursday night in an NFL Preseason 2013 game. Both teams come into this clash with a 2-1 record in the preseason and both will be looking to build on that with another win tonight in a final game before the regular season gets started. Tonight's game will begin at 7 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
Since being demolished by the Buffalo Bills on Aug. 11 the Colts have slowly improved and last week's display against Cleveland was reassured and confident.
Many Colts' fans were left concerned at the manner of their team's 20-44 loss against the Bills at home, but the week after they traveled to the New York Giants and claimed a good 20-12 victory. Last week they followed that up with a very positive 27-6 win at home to Cleveland.
They will want to continue that positive progress and momentum and move forward to September's season opener against Oakland on the 8th.
The Bengals though will pose a stiff test for the Colts. They looked excellent in their 34-10 win on the road to Atlanta on Aug. 8, and followed that up with a tight 27-19 win over Tennessee at home. However, last week they were unable to quite turn over the Dallas Cowboys, and lost on the road 18-24.
They will want to get back to winning ways today, and will likely continue to use their strong rush offense to break down the Colts' defensive line.
The Bengals are currently ranked 2nd in the NFL this preseason, gaining 170.7 yards on rush on average each game so far. They also have one of the highest points tallies this preseason out of the NFL teams, ranking 4th with an average of 26.3 points per game.
