'Inhumans' News: Kevin Feige Talks About Removal Of Film From Release Calendar

Marvel has finally shared some details about the fate of the upcoming "Inhumans" film.

The upcoming Marvel film "Inhumans" was initially set for 2018. However, previous reports by The Wrap revealed that Marvel had removed the film from its release calendar. With that, fans have been speculating that this is a sign that the film will be cancelled.

The president of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, spoke to Collider about the film, sharing details about their decision to remove it from the calendar. He explained that the removal of the film does not indicate that the film is not going to push through. However, he did say that they are still unsure when the film will be scheduled.

The delay is due to the new Marvel films that they have added to their line up. Feige stated, "Since we made our initial phase three announcement, we added Spider-Man, which was a big joyous coup for us. We added Ant-Man and the Wasp, which was a big fun continuation of that story for us. Walt Disney Company has announced an Indiana Jones film for right around that same time. So I think it will shuffle off the current date that it's on right now. How far down it shuffles, I'm not sure yet."

However, there are speculations that the delay could have been due to other reasons. There are rumors that the movie is not one of Marvel's top priorities. According to Bleeding Cool, it is likely that the Marvel film "Inhumans" will actually be cancelled.

Fans have been questioning the connection of "Inhumans" to the rest of the marvel Cinematic Universe. With that, there are rumors that they are hoping to develop the concept of Inhumans more before moving forward with the film.
