iPad 3 Rumors: High Resolution Panel Image Leaks
With the release date of the iPad 3 quickly approaching, various parts for the device have began to pop up all over the place and the most recent of these has been a high-resolution panel.
Japanese blog Macotakara published a picture today of what could be a high-resolution panel manufactured by Sharp specifically made for the iPad 3.
The blog claims it obtained the part from a parts reseller named Eye Lab Factory. Tech site 9to5Mac commented on the site's finding.

"According to the blog, the part was obtained by parts reseller Eye Lab Factory, meaning you should take this with a few pinches of salt," wrote the site. "It looks as a 9.7-inch panel and Macotakara observes its flat cable seemingly corresponds to a similar cable connecting the iPad 2's LCD panel to the motherboard."
The display is a XQGA with a pixel resolution of 2,048x1,536. Macotakara reported that Foxconn and Pegatron technology had already began manufacturing the next-gen iPad last month in preparation for an early-March launch.
The blog also claimed that unknown sources leaked information to it that said Sharp would be supplying 2048x1536 resolution panels for the iPad 3. This was also reported by other publications such as DigiTimes and the Wall Street Journal.
Apple is expected to launch two highly anticipated devices in the next 6 months including the next generation iPad and iPhone.
9to5Mac also reported that two iPad's could be released year including an iPad 3 with a few minor updates including a new display, and a drastically redesigned iPad 4 dropping in October.
However, looking at Apple's past for releasing devices, it is unlikely that the company will flood the market with two new tablets unless their mission is to compete with all ends of the market including high, middle and low.
